30th Celebration buying guide
Mega Evolution era
Pokémon's 30th anniversary set, released everywhere on the same day — 16 September 2026. Every card in a pack is foil, and there's no booster box.
About 30th Celebration
Each pack holds five foil cards and a foil Basic Energy, and one of the five is always a Pikachu — there are 30 different Pikachu illustrations to collect. The set also has a Classic Collection: 30 famous cards from Base Set onwards, reprinted with gold borders.
The cards collectors want most are the three RGB Rare Mews and the Futuristic Rare Mew ex and Mewtwo ex, illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN.
Packs aren't sold on their own. They come inside Elite Trainer Boxes, collection boxes, tins and the Booster Bundle, which arrived in waves: the first products on 16 September, the Booster Bundle and Mini Tins on 2 October, and the premium collections through to December.

Questions collectors ask
- What can I buy for 30th Celebration?
- 30th Celebration comes as Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Bundles, Booster Packs, Ultra-Premium Collections and more. Each one in the Shop shows what it's worth today and who's selling it.
- Booster bundle or Elite Trainer Box?
- A booster bundle is just packs — six of them. An Elite Trainer Box has more packs plus sleeves, energy cards, dice and a sturdy storage box. If you only want to open packs, the bundle is the cheaper way in; the Elite Trainer Box makes a better gift or a first box for a new player.
